PESCO BEAM Environmental Solutions - History
PESCO BEAM Environmental Solutions is a global
organization with principal offices at Roanoke, Virginia, U.S.A.
and Chennai, India.
TECHNOLOGICAL EXPERTISE + BUSINESS EXPERIENCE
The organization has, since inception, designed,
engineered and manufactured complete systems for used oil re-refining,
used solvent recovery, bio fuel production, petroleum sludge treatment
for producing high value products from petroleum based wastes, mixing
and recipe preparation, drying with or without solvent recovery,
and customized process equipment, among others. Through the 1990s
and into the first decade of this century, the organization has
supplied turn-key plants to clients worldwide – like the U.S.,
Australia, The Caribbean, South Africa, U.A.E. and Qatar.
The company has also built and operated ethanol
production facilities since 1980. These facilities were located
in Floyd, Virginia. At peak production, two of the companies processed
and sold over 12 million gallons per year of anhydrous fuel ethanol
blended with gasoline in service stations such as Racetrack, Wilco,
Citgo, and others throughout the Mid-Atlantic States of the U.S.A.
From 1980 to 1992, when falling crude oil prices and low gasoline
rack prices reduced the demand for ethanol, and at the same time
the demand for solvent and oil recovery systems was growing, the
company met the increasing demand with on-site, reasonably priced,
skid mounted solvent and oil recovery systems.
Thus, PESCO BEAM combines the best of technological
expertise with business experience.
